Cost-per-Kill: The New Logic of Air Defence

30 Sept 2026
Surveillance Theatre 1
Traditional air defence was built around expensive systems intercepting expensive threats. That logic is rapidly becoming obsolete. This seminar explores how drones, electronic warfare, and low-cost interceptors are reshaping the economics of modern defence. Drawing on Ukraine's wartime experience, participants will examine why cost-per-kill, production capacity, deployment speed, and rapid innovation have become critical factors in building effective and sustainable air defence systems.
